A note from me

There’s another reason I’m building hy. that goes beyond activewear.
I genuinely believe every child should have the chance to find something they love doing.
Sport can give children so much — confidence, friendships, a sense of belonging, an escape when they need one, and those brilliant moments where they realise they’re capable of more than they thought.
But I also know that getting those opportunities isn’t a given.
Sports clubs, lessons, kit, equipment and travel all cost money, and there are children who simply don’t get the same opportunities because their families can’t afford them.
That’s something I want hy. to help change.
Right now, I’m at the very beginning of building this brand. I can’t make the difference I eventually want to make yet, and I want to be completely transparent about that.
But as hy. grows, one of my biggest ambitions is to give something back — helping children from underprivileged backgrounds access sport, activities and opportunities they might otherwise miss out on.
Maybe that means funding a club place. Providing kit. Helping with equipment. Supporting community organisations. I don’t know exactly what that will look like yet.
I just know that I want it to be part of hy. future.
Because if I can build a successful business around helping girls feel confident enough to keep moving, I want that success to help another child get the opportunity to start.
